Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and friendly Servers, Bartenders, Food Runners and Hosts to join our growing team at seasonal New American Restaurant Locavore and Rooftop bar Folklore. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with menu information and recommendations.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain stock levels of supplies and assist with inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is desirable but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
