Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and empowering work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to deliver their best.
  • Champion an unparalleled guest experience, ensuring every visit to The Shore is memorable, seamless, and exceeds expectations through impeccable service and attention to detail.
  • Oversee all facets of daily restaurant operations, from front-of-house service to back-of-house efficiency, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to our high standards.
  • Strategically manage resources, including inventory, scheduling, and labor costs, to optimize profitability without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements, problem-solving challenges proactively to enhance efficiency and maintain a consistent, high-quality dining environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative strategies to enhance the restaurant’s performance.
  • Take an active role in recruitment, following Human Resources guidelines, overseeing orientation, training programs, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for both guests and team members.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Completed high school education.
  • Valid Smart Serve certification.
  • Proven expertise in comprehensive restaurant operations and management principles.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple demands effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering clear dialogue with team members, guests, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and restaurant management software. Working knowledge of Toast and 7Shifts would be an asset.
