Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth functioning.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
- Implement and monitor food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of all food items.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and oversee customer service to deliver a memorable dining experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Support budgeting efforts by controlling costs related to food, labor, and supplies while maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food presentation and timely service in both casual dining and fine dining settings.
- Assist with catering events or banquet services as needed to expand service offerings.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management including culinary experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and sales reporting.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant management roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food handling procedures.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements.
- Background in customer service excellence with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Previous experience in hotel or bar settings is a plus; barista or coffee experience can be advantageous for diverse beverage service knowledge.
