- Greeting & Seating: Welcoming guests, Escorting them to tables, and providing menus.
- Reservation Management: Handling phone/online bookings and managing the waitlist efficiently.
- Dining Flow Management: Coordinating with waitstaff to manage seating, ensuring an even workload.
- Customer Service: Answering inquiries, handling complaints professionally, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Area Maintenance: Keeping the entryway and host stand clean and organized.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills for engaging with guests and staff.
- Organization: Strong multitasking abilities to manage a busy floor.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, professional demeanor.
- Experience: Previous restaurant experience is often preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
