One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Restaurant Host/Hostess to join the team!

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Host/Hostess warmly welcomes everyone while proactively greeting and seating guests in the restaurants.

Job Specifications:

• Expected Pay Range: Starting $20.00 per hour
  • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full and part-time seasonal positions available starting May 15 through October 31
• Weekend and holidays as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Answers phone.
• Take and confirm reservations.
• Greets and seat guests within proper rotation.
• Manage a wait list.
• Completes cover count sheet.
• Presents menus and wine lists.
• Maintain a visually clean and organized work area.
• Assists in clearing and resetting tables.
• Ensures guest satisfaction.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries and comments.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience in hospitality industry in similar position.
• Standing and walking for extended period of time.
• Must be able to lift & move 75lbs.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
