Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Restaurant Cashier to manage daily billing operations, cash and card transactions, and POS activities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a cashier in a restaurant environment and be comfortable handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer bills and payments accurately and efficiently.

Operate and manage the restaurant POS system.

Handle cash, credit/debit card and other approved payment methods.

Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the system.

Issue receipts and assist customers with billing-related queries.

Maintain accurate cash records and ensure proper cash handling procedures.

Perform cash reconciliation at the end of shifts.

Coordinate with restaurant staff regarding orders, billing and payment issues.

Report discrepancies or payment-related issues to the supervisor or management.

Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.

Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.

Provide professional and courteous customer service.

Support other operational activities assigned by the supervisor or management.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School / Intermediate or equivalent.

Experience: 0-1 year Experience

Previous cashier experience in a restaurant environment is preferred.

Good knowledge of POS billing systems.

Strong cash and card-handling skills.

Basic computer knowledge.

Good communication and customer-service skills.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Compensation

Starting Salary: AED 1,500 per month, with the final package determined according to relevant experience and the company’s approved compensation structure.
