The Registered Nurse in emergency department will deliver frontline care to patients with urgent or life-threatening conditions, ensuring rapid assessment, prioritization, and evidence-based interventions. The role demands sound clinical judgment, clear communication, and teamwork in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform triage, rapid assessment, and prioritize patient care based on urgency.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, condition, and progress.
- Assist physicians during procedures and provide critical support in resuscitation/trauma cases.
- Maintain emergency equipment, ensure infection control, and follow hospital safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in emergency room in a large hospital setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
