9am-530pm
Every other weekend with a holiday rotation
Your enthusiastic attitude coupled with a desire to care for and about elders are the qualifications we are looking for. The ideal candidate must have experience running and implementing therapeutic programs, activities and events for seniors. Must be able to run and implement multiple events and programs and work with multiple disciplines. Must be organized, energetic, motivated and creative.
Responsibilities include:
The Recreation Assistant assists the Recreation Director to provide group and individual activities for the residents. Duties will involve personal contact with a varying resident population. Tasks also will involve record keeping, attention to the environment, use of supplies and equipment, and maintenance of storage areas.
Must be CNA certified and willing to get CPR certified.
