At Genius we are hiring for a Receptionist/Front Office Executive for a Construction Company

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our company, responsible for creating a positive and welcoming impression for all visitors, clients, and callers. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to multitask and manage various administrative duties efficiently. They will play a crucial role in maintaining office efficiency and supporting various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, directing them to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, brochures).
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock.
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings as requested.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for various departments as needed, including data entry and document preparation.
  • Manage conference room bookings and ensure rooms are ready for meetings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing couriers and packages.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
