About us

Spotlight Ballroom and Midtown Stomp are a dance studio in West Sacramento. We bring partner dancing to the community through private lessons, group classes and social dances. We are currently the largest dance studio in the Sacramento area and focus primarily on swing dancing and ballroom dancing.

“`Duties“`
– Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
– Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
– Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
– Provide administrative support to staff as needed
– Accept payments for services and help educate customers on packages/options to bring more dancing into their lives
– Help keep the studio neat, tidy and clean

“`Qualifications“`
– Previous experience in reception and/or sales preferred
– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

We have a lot of customers who have regular appointments that need to be maintained. We need to be sure that customers are checked in when they arrive and followed up with. There is a lot of joy to be found in helping new customers start dancing and learn to dance
