Seaside Sweep is a small, thriving chimney sweep company in Wilmington looking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative. We are looking for a 8:30am-5:00pm office assistant. As an office assistant, you are expected to answer phones calls, answer client questions, and schedule appointments. Especially during the cooler months, its important to be able to manage high-volume calls while simultaneously managing scheduled jobs and dispatching our technicians. Excellent phone skills is crucial, as that is the first impression to potential clients. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Answer and make phones calls to clients
- Schedule appointments
- Dispatch technicians to assigned destinations
- Prepare technicians daily assignments
- File paperwork
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Send emails to client/vendors
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, clients and colleagues
- Make use of downtime; clean windows, floors, desk space
- Receive shipments from vendors
- Opportunities for advancements or cross training in sales and/or inventory
Skills
- Customer service skills; friendly, confident, and informative
- Working knowledge of office equipment/basic computer skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to professionally handle all personality types and offer solutions when needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
