RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate the front desk and multi-line switchboard, directing calls and visitors appropriately.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, employees, vendors, and the public.
- Perform administrative tasks using office equipment including computers, fax machines, and copiers.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in all communications.
- Support departmental functions and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
2–3 years of experience in computerized hospital patient accounts preferred. - Proficiency with general office equipment and multi-line phone systems.
- Strong communication skills, both in-person and on the phone.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, attention to detail, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and manage records accurately.
- Committed to maintaining a positive and courteous work atmosphere.
- Physical Requirement: Moderate mobility required, including sitting, walking, and occasional lifting; basic manual dexterity and ability to work under psychological stressors are essential.
