Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Indian curries, gravies, dals, biryanis, and sautéed items as per standard recipes
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
  • Assist in preparation (cutting, marination, gravy base preparation, masalas)
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cooking station/ kitchen
  • Follow food safety and storage standards
  • Coordinate with other teams for smooth service
  • Monitor stock levels of spices, vegetables, meats, and inform seniors when needed
  • Reduce wastage and maintain proper food cost control

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–4 years experience as a Range Cook in an Indian restaurant, Indo chinese knowledge or experience will be a great advantage
  • Good knowledge of Indian cooking techniques
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
  • Must be Dubai Based
  • Must be open to night shift
  • Basic knowledge of tandoor section
  • Ability to handle bulk cooking
  • Male candidates only due to accommodation situation
