Purchasing Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and F&B experienced Purchase Officer to manage our procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing processes. He / She will be responsible in assisting the branches’ supervisors in acquiring products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement purchasing strategies.

· Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

· Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

· Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends.

· Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, and delivery speed.

· Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

· Day-to-day activities include issuing purchased orders within the specified timeline.

· Maintain records of items ordered and received.

· Maintain the same quality and the value of the products ordered.

· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Qualifications:

o Proven experience as a Purchase Officer role in Food & Beverage industry.

o Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

o Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office applications.

o Strong organizational and time-management skills.

o Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
