Full job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality procurement, with the ability to manage purchasing operations efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the procurement of food, beverage, equipment, and other operational supplies
  • Source and negotiate with reliable suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Work closely with the kitchen, service, and finance teams to ensure purchasing aligns with operational needs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of supply chain procedures and inventory management
  • Familiarity with purchasing software and MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and tight timelines
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
