Role: Project Manager (Hospital)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface between the client, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure the project is delivered in alignment with the client’s vision, budget, and timeline.
- Lead project governance processes, including approvals, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee design development and review for compliance with hospital/Building codes (e.g., FGI, NFPA, HTM).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, MEP, structural, medical planners).
- Ensure project milestones, procurement schedules, and budgets are established and maintained.
- Ensure compliance with fire and life safety, infection control, and environmental health regulations.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, technical audits, and project reviews.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor budgets, value engineering proposals, and contractor claims.
- Assist the client in contractor evaluations, tendering, and change order management.
- Ensure proper planning and execution of testing & commissioning (T&C) for MEP and hospital systems.
- Oversee handover process, including snagging, documentation, training, and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with medical equipment vendors, ICT providers, and FM teams for integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in buildings and healthcare facilities, with at least 7 years in a project manager role.
