Job Summary
Prepares plan of action and budget for the component ;
Prepares periodical reports on the irrigation and water program;
Makes reconnaissance survey and conducts feasibility study and detail design of water and irrigation activities;
Produces technical papers and drawings for the water and irrigation activities;
In consultation with the immediate supervisor, be responsible for the employment and management of staff under his/her supervision;
Be responsible for the relevant training of the beneficiaries and project staff;
Works with the concerned government bodies;
Provides technical assistance to the other components as required;
Supervises and monitors the construction of water supply and irrigation schemes and ensures that they are carried out as designed and planned;
