Full job description
The Program Assistant assists Parks and Recreation staff in various areas including athletics, camps, recreation activities, and events by providing onsite program supervision; organizing and distributing programming supplies; assisting with the implementation of various programs; and assisting with supervision of participants.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record
- Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification upon hire
Schedule:
Monday -Friday 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Saturday AM, Sunday PM.
10-20 hours per week.
Specific hours and work schedule will vary based on seasonal programming needs.
