Job Summary

Hira Industries is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading production teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet production schedules and delivery targets.
  • Allocate manpower effectively and monitor workforce productivity.
  • Ensure production processes comply with quality standards and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues for timely maintenance.
  • Prepare daily production reports and maintain accurate production records.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Monitor production KPIs, including output, efficiency, downtime, and scrap levels.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper housekeeping across the production area.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate production operators to enhance performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support inventory control by monitoring raw material usage and minimizing losses.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends or night shifts, when required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Production Manager.

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.

Experience

  • At least 3–5 years of supervisory experience in production operations.
  • Experience in insulation, polymer, rubber, foam, or continuous manufacturing industries is an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent production planning and scheduling abilities.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Good understanding of quality systems and production KPIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and manufacturing best practices.
  • Familiarity with HSE regulations within manufacturing environments.
