Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Specialist to manage our end-to-end purchasing activities. In this role, you will lead vendor sourcing, negotiate high-value contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of cost-effective, high-quality goods and services. You will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and reducing operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Sourcing: Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors globally and locally.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Purchase Management: Draft, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) using corporate ERP software.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with vendors, monitoring their performance and reliability.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze market trends and company spending habits to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal company policies and relevant legal regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Buyer, or Purchasing Agent.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Negotiation: Excellent communication, persuasion, and commercial negotiation tactics.
  • Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent procurement credentials.
