We are looking for a motivated and organized Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination for materials and services required for our events, tents, construction, and project operations. The ideal candidate should have good negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, quotations, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for construction, tent, event, steel, fabric, fit-out, and related materials.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and suitable quality.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Coordinate with project, production, warehouse, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain and update the approved supplier and vendor database.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and pending requirements.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including delays, shortages, and quality discrepancies.
• Conduct market research and identify new suppliers and cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain proper procurement records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related documents.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, and tracking sheets.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Experience in construction, events, tents, steel fabrication, fit-out, or related industries will be an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and supplier/vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and purchasing procedures.
• Good knowledge of construction and project-related materials is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidates currently available in Dubai, UAE.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license and own a car.
