We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Procurement Manager to join our growing trading company in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s purchasing activities, developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain an approved supplier database.
- Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment.
- Prepare purchase orders and oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and performance metrics for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably within a trading company.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
- Experience sourcing products from local and international markets.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- UAE experience is preferred.
