Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Pool and Gym Attendant in San Juan, PR! This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members and guests. As a key part of our fitness and recreation facility, you will be responsible for maintaining the pool and gym areas, delivering exceptional customer service, and promoting a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Duties

• Monitor pool and gym areas continuously to ensure safety protocols are followed and equipment is used properly
• Assist members with pool rules, safety procedures, and facility guidelines to promote a secure environment
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, gym equipment, and locker rooms to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide product demos of fitness equipment or accessories to enhance member engagement and promote facility offerings
• Handle cash register transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems for memberships, merchandise, or refreshments
• Upsell memberships, classes, or retail products by communicating benefits clearly and confidently
• Stock, merchandise, and organize supplies or retail items in designated areas to ensure an attractive presentation
• Enforce phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments with professionalism and friendliness
• Assist with basic retail sales, cashiering, and cash handling duties accurately during busy periods
• Support supervising staff in maintaining overall cleanliness, safety standards, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not required
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse community members effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail merchandising is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings
