THE JOB:

As an on-call Pool Cocktail Server at New York New York, you are responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate food and beverage service in a high-energy pool environment. From taking orders to preparing and serving cocktails, you’ll ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience with attentive service and a positive attitude.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.5057 hourly + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area, as applicable
• Place orders, and garnish and serve cocktails to guests
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment, including folding/stacking cocktail napkins; stocking swizzle sticks, straws, and matches; lining cocktail trays; stocking glassware; restocking supply cabinets; and inspecting the cleanliness and condition of assigned stations and service areas, and rectifying any deficiencies

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 6+ months of relevant experience preferred
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
