The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook with at least 2 years of hands-on pizza-making experience to join our culinary team in Nantucket, Massachusetts. This opportunity is available as either a seasonal position (June–September) or a year-round role, depending on availability and candidate preference. Housing accommodations are included for relocated team members.

Pay

$$21 – $25 depending on experience, plus housing provided.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to restaurant standards and recipes
• Stretch, shape, and manage dough by hand with consistency and care
• Operate wood-fired, gas, or deck ovens safely and efficiently
• Prepare sauces, cheeses, toppings, and other ingredients daily
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
• Assist with kitchen prep, inventory, and stocking as needed
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff during service
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and high-energy work environment

More About You

• Minimum 2 years of pizza-making experience in a restaurant or pizzeria
• Knowledge of dough fermentation, pizza preparation, and oven management
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to relocate to Nantucket, Massachusetts
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
