Carrier Truck Centers require an experienced, knowledgeable, self-motivated and career minded, Parts and Service Associate to join our team in our Sarnia, Ontario dealership. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment that involves constant interaction with our customers while delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Advisor Duties

  • Greet customers and assess service needs for trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Open, manage, and close work orders accurately
  • Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and costs to customers
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
  • Monitor job progress and provide status updates to customers
  • Handle service documentation
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow-up

Parts Advisor Duties

  • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing truck parts
  • Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Receive, label, and organize incoming parts orders
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Recommend appropriate parts and upsell when applicable

Who is our ideal candidate?

  • 3 years of work experience as a service advisor in an auto or large truck environment.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex electronic parts catalogs (EPC).
  • Has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt and multi task in a fast paced environment.
  • An individual who is results driven, has the ability to lead and is a team player with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Will be self-motivated and has a strong drive for excellence.
  • Consistently exhibits a professional attitude and presents a positive image to all internal and external customers.
