Job Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer.
- Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, and decorative surfaces.
- Follow project specifications, color selections, and finishing plans provided by designers.
- Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve smooth and consistent finishes.
- Protect furniture, floors, and adjacent surfaces using masking, drop cloths, and plastic coverings.
- Repair cracks, patch drywall, and perform minor surface restoration as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other technicians to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter in interior design, construction, or fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing materials.
- Ability to work with brushes, rollers, and spray machines.
- Good understanding of colors, textures, and decorative finishes (e.g., matte, gloss, enamel, wood polish).
- Physically fit and able to work on ladders, scaffolding, and various job-site conditions.
