What your day will look like:

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all kitchens and Food & Beverage areas.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and food preparation areas, including cooking equipment, prep surfaces, and dishwashing stations.
  • Sweep, mop, and deep clean floors in all kitchen and F&B spaces.
  • Degrease and polish hot line equipment, including hood vents.
  • Empty garbage, organic waste, and recycling receptacles, replacing liners as required.
  • Clean and sanitize any remaining China, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans throughout the hotel.
  • Monitor and report maintenance concerns, damages, or operational issues to the Kitchen Operations Manager.
  • Carry a radio when required and respond to requests promptly and professionally.
  • Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Lift and carry up to 23 kg on a regular and continuous basis.
  • Push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 23 kg.
  • Work in temperature‑variable environments ranging from -18°C to 40°C.
  • Walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Work in areas with elevated noise levels.
  • Use manual dexterity to perform cleaning duties and operate required equipment.
  • Work overnight shifts (late nights to early mornings), 5 days per week including weekends and holidays

Your experience and skills include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required provincial or federal licenses, certificates, or permits.
  • Food Safe Certification preferred.
  • Previous hotel or restaurant experience is an asset.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
  • Professional, neat, and well‑groomed appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada – Valid study or work permits – 1 year minimum validity.
