We are seeking an energetic Outside Sales Account Manager to drive business growth by building strong relationships with clients and expanding our market presence. Responsibilities:
- Develop new client relationships through warm calling, networking, and industry events to generate leads and expand our customer base
- Manage existing accounts with a focus on retention, upselling, and providing tailored solutions that meet customer needs
- Conduct detailed needs analysis to recommend appropriate truck solutions, parts, or services using technical knowledge of fleet management and vehicle specifications
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales effectively while ensuring mutual benefit for clients and the company
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, service, and parts departments to deliver comprehensive solutions that enhance customer satisfaction
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and analyze market trends for strategic planning
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the market
Experience:
- Familiar with Outside Sales within the transportation, technology sales, or industrial sectors
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at various levels
- Experience in business development with a track record of expanding client portfolios
- Excellent communication skills for engaging presentations and effective relationship building
- Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
