About The Role

The core function of the Order Taker at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort is to ensure accurate and efficient order taking for in-room dining, restaurant, and banquet services. This includes providing exceptional customer service, accurately recording guest orders, and coordinating with the kitchen and service teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Order Taking: Receive guest orders for In-Room Dining, restaurant, and banquet services ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Menu Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of the food and beverage offerings including In-Room Dining menus, restaurant menus, and banquet menus.
• Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner, taking orders, addressing special requests, and providing menu recommendations.
• Order Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of guest orders.
• Order Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of guest orders, noting any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requests and communicating them to the appropriate departments.
