Key Responsibilities

• Operational Planning and Execution: Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies and procedures to drive efficiency and productivity across the entire production and installation workflow.
• Project Oversight: Supervise and monitor all aluminium and glass projects from inception to completion, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved project schedules and technical specifications.
• Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize costs across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of supervisors, fabricators, and installers. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to enhance team performance and foster a positive, high-performing work culture.
• Quality Control and Compliance: Enforce stringent quality assurance standards and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure all products meet customer expectations and industry benchmarks.
• Budget and Financial Management: Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenses, and use financial data to make informed decisions that improve profitability and control costs.
• Procurement and Supply Chain: Manage the supply chain process, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Coordinate with suppliers to prevent material shortages and delays.
• Client and Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and technical issues, and develop and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Reporting: Generate and present regular performance reports to senior management, detailing project status, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in operations management within the aluminium and glass, or façade and metal works industry, with a proven track record in the UAE or GCC.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong command of aluminium and glass systems (e.g., curtain wall, doors, windows, partitions) and familiarity with common industry systems (e.g., Gulf Extrusion,Alumil, Gutmann).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, track progress, and meet deadlines.
• Leadership: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in project management software, ERP systems, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues under pressure.
• Language: Fluent in English (oral and written). Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• License: A valid UAE Driving License is required.
