Fast growing flight training school is seeking to add team member who has incredible people skills and a drive to make people smile. Looking for that special someone who can help organize and facilitate the “hustle” and growth of communication between teachers, students and airplanes. This person will deal closely with the public and will be the first impression our company gives. They make sure that things are organized and well taken care of so that our students have the best education experience of any flight school.
This role is very flexible. Some weeks we need you two or three weekdays. Some weeks just Saturday. We’re needing someone who enjoys flexibility in an exciting environment.
Duties
Answer the telephone with enthusiasm and a smile
Greet visitors with an even bigger smile and helpful attitude
Provide information to callers and visitors
Facilitate communication between students and instructors
Organize schedules and maintain student records
Invoice students at the completion of their lessons
Maintain relationships with potential student prospects
Interface with maintenance personnel as needed
Represent a public image of aviation education and why flight training is important in a student’s life
Help keep our high-traffic office secure, tidy and neat
Family friendly environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in an office environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving customer service or support.
Knowledge of aircraft or the aviation industry is not necessary. We’re looking for the right attitude
Proficiency in computers is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to type efficiently and accurately for documentation purposes.
