Responsibilities:

– Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Perform the front desk night audit to record financial transactions from the front desk reservation software in the accounting software.
– Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments
– Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing exceptional customer service
– Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
– Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
– Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction

Experience:
– Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
– Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
– Familiarity with night audit procedures is an advantage

Skills:
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multiple languages being a plus
– Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and reservations
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve guest issues promptly and efficiently
– A friendly and approachable demeanor with a genuine desire to assist guests
