Position Overview:
Night auditors perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
Performs and attributes all required audit reports.
Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.
Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.
Prepares the front office for the ‘A’ shift and reset days business.
Acts as a Guest Service representative during the night time hours.
Acts as the manager on duty during the night time hours.
Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.
Participates in all training and cross training programs.
Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.
Assists breakfast attendants by setting up breakfast areas as needed.
Performs other related duties as required.
Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
