Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position combines guest service excellence with administrative precision, providing a welcoming and secure environment for all guests arriving or departing during the night. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night arrivals and early-morning departures, managing front desk duties, guest relations, and financial reconciliations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help maintain our hotel’s reputation for exceptional hospitality and seamless guest experiences around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests during late-night hours with check-in, check-out, and inquiries, ensuring a positive experience through friendly and efficient service
- Manage front desk operations including multi-line phone systems, reservation adjustments, and guest requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and security
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to document nightly activities and any issues that arise
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or emergencies, coordinating with relevant departments or emergency services as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area while adhering to hotel policies on phone etiquette and guest confidentiality
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel operations or front desk roles
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, ensuring every visitor feels valued and cared for
- Knowledge of hotel management systems, reservation software, and multi-line phone systems for efficient communication
- Ability to handle night audit procedures accurately while maintaining attention to detail in financial transactions
- Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and professional demeanor during all interactions
- Familiarity with resort or hotel environments, demonstrating flexibility in hospitality management practices
