Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mobile Service Operator to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and operating mobile service units, ensuring efficient delivery of services to our clients. Duties
- Operate and maintain mobile service units, ensuring optimal performance during service delivery
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment such as CNC machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines
- Assist with materials handling, loading and unloading materials using forklifts and other hand tools
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to support fabrication and assembly tasks
- Utilize precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality control checks
- Support fabrication processes including welding, machining, and tooling setup on various manufacturing equipment
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and packaging operations to meet production goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and operational logs
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC programming, CAM programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe machines, and CNC programming software like SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with Fanuc controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and automation systems
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including fabrication, stamping presses, welding, and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with factory safety standards and warehouse experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for quality assurance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a manufacturing facility environment
