Medical Receptionist — Tri-City Dermatology (Richland, WA)

Tri-City Dermatology is a well-established dermatology clinic serving the Tri-Cities community. We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care in a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced medical office. This position is the first impression of our clinic — professionalism, organization, and strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally as the first point of contact
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently
  • Answer phones, route calls, respond to messages, emails, and faxes
  • Communicate clearly with providers and clinical staff to coordinate care
  • Maintain courteous, respectful interactions with patients and visitors

Scheduling & Office Operations

  • Schedule appointments and referrals according to clinic protocols
  • Monitor provider schedules to keep clinic flow efficient
  • Verify insurance and prepare documentation for billing
  • Collect payments, review balances, and assist with billing questions
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Update electronic health records and scan documentation
  • Keep reception area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
