Medical Receptionist — Tri-City Dermatology (Richland, WA)

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced medical office. This position is the first impression of our clinic — professionalism, organization, and strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience
- Greet patients warmly and professionally as the first point of contact
- Manage patient check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently
- Answer phones, route calls, respond to messages, emails, and faxes
- Communicate clearly with providers and clinical staff to coordinate care
- Maintain courteous, respectful interactions with patients and visitors
Scheduling & Office Operations
- Schedule appointments and referrals according to clinic protocols
- Monitor provider schedules to keep clinic flow efficient
- Verify insurance and prepare documentation for billing
- Collect payments, review balances, and assist with billing questions
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Update electronic health records and scan documentation
- Keep reception area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
