Medical Receptionist – Homeopathy

We are looking for a smart, reliable, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist with a medical background to work closely with our Homeopathy Doctor and support daily clinic operations in a fast-paced wellness environment.

This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage patient coordination efficiently while delivering high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointments, follow-ups, and waitlists, ensuring patients are booked according to medical recommendations
  • Handle patient communication at reception, via phone, WhatsApp, and email
  • Identify urgent or acute cases by asking basic pre-assessment questions and coordinating with the doctor
  • Prepare prescriptions and medical reports as instructed, for doctor review and approval
  • Assist patients with sourcing homeopathic medicines and explaining intake instructions
  • Prepare homeopathic medicines when required
  • Track and follow up on insurance claim forms, including for online patients
  • Handle patient concerns professionally and ensure an excellent patient experience
  • Maintain accurate patient records and support daily clinic operations

Requirements:

  • Medical background preferred (nursing, medical assistant, healthcare administration, or similar)
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a clinical setting
  • Mandatory customer service experience
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and patient-focused
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts
