Full job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates patient care through the office: checking in/checking out, monitoring the waiting room, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking patient’s blood pressure, preparing medications, handling and updating patient records, pulling/ filing patient charts
  • Assist with escorting patients to therapy area
  • Assist with incoming phone calls efficiently and professionally and responds to voicemail and email messages in a timely manner
  • Assist with patient appointment reminder calls
  • Ensures office supply inventory is current and orders are maintained consistently
  • Ensures patient confidentiality by honoring the HIPAA Privacy Standards
  • Performs all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required

Customer Service Skills:

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to interact with patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Must have office experience

Position is 4 days a week/ 26 hours per week

Tuesday 9:30-6

Wednesday 7:30-2

Thursday 9:30-6

Friday 7:30-Noon
