Job Overview:

All American Material Testing is a Construction Material Testing Company (for concrete, rebar, etc) located in San Pedro, CA. We are searching for a Driver/Soils Technician for an immediate start.

As a Construction Laboratory Driver & Soils Technician, you will be responsible for picking up concrete, rebar, and other samples and performing soils compaction testing in the field. Previous soils tech experience is a bonus, but not required. ICC Soils and other ICC certifications are also a bonus, but not required. Paid training is available at $20 per hour and pay is increased to $25 per hour once self-sufficient. A company vehicle is provided.

Responsibilities:
– Pick up and label samples (company vehicle provided)
– Perform in-field soils compaction testing (paid training available)
– Willingness to work overtime periodically
– Maintain a clean work vehicle and equipment

Qualifications:
– Basic math & computer skills
– Speed & efficiency
– High level of accuracy & attention to detail
– Ability to lift 75 pounds
– Valid California driver’s license
– Clean driving record
– High school diploma or GED
