We are seeking an experienced Manager / Assistant Manager – Projects to manage and execute complex logistics projects involving special equipment, flat rack, breakbulk, oversized cargo, and oil & gas equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, commercial awareness, and expertise in heavy-lift and project cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of project cargo opportunities.
• Manage customer visits and build strong client relationships across the Middle East.
• Coordinate tenders and prepare commercial bids.
• Plan, execute, and monitor project logistics from inquiry to final delivery.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with carriers, vessel owners, agents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Negotiate freight rates and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and local laws.
• Oversee handling of oversized, breakbulk, flat rack, and oil field equipment.
• Manage project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Communicate project progress with customers and stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Logistics or related field preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in project logistics or heavy-lift operations.
• Experience handling oversized cargo, breakbulk, flat racks, and special equipment.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
