Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Supervise maintenance staff and provide leadership to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents.
• Conduct residential painting as part of facility upkeep when required.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various machinery and equipment.
• Electrical experience is required, including familiarity with using an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a maintenance setting.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus, enhancing understanding of equipment operation within an industrial context.
