The Best Western Grants Pass Inn is seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our guests and staff.

Position Type

• Full-Time
• Must be available to work weekends (schedule may include holidays as needed)

Compensation

• Wage dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities remain in good working order
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and brand requirements
• Coordinate with management and outside vendors as needed
• Assist with room turns, inspections, and readiness for guest occupancy

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel or hospitality experience a plus)
• Working knowledge of general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
• Valid driver’s license preferred
