Job Overview

NFI Middle East FZCO, a food manufacturing company specialising in snack products, is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician / Maintenance Technician to join our factory maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on factory machinery and production equipment.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults in motors, control panels, wiring, sensors and related components.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Assist in troubleshooting breakdowns of production and packaging machines.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Support maintenance activities involving conveyors, packing machines and other food production equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns and repairs.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, including electrical isolation and lockout/tagout where applicable.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimise equipment downtime.
• Ensure tools, spare parts and the maintenance workshop are kept organised.

Requirements

• Technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Previous experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, contactors, relays, sensors and control panels.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and perform equipment repairs.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a factory environment and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• A practical, disciplined and safety-conscious approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with food manufacturing or packaging machinery.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, VFDs and industrial control systems.
• Experience maintaining automated production and packing lines.
