Location: Hoffman Estates (In-Office)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $25.00 per hour (based on experience) + benefits

About Us

The Heartland Roadshow is expanding into live-selling and looking for a confident, engaging Live Auction Host to lead sales on Whatnot.

This role is centered around on-camera selling. You will be presenting jewelry and coins in a live auction environment, interacting with customers in real time, and driving sales through energy, communication, and product presentation.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the live-selling experience and help us build and grow this channel from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Host live sales events on Whatnot featuring costume jewelry and coins
• Present products in an engaging, persuasive, and high-energy manner
• Interact with live viewers, answer questions, and drive bidding activity
• Create urgency and excitement to maximize conversions during live auctions
• Prepare products for live shows (sorting, organizing, light research)
• Collaborate with the team to improve live show performance and sales strategy
• Assist with eBay or other online sales channels as needed (secondary)
• Maintain organization and accuracy when handling inventory

Qualifications

• Experience selling on Whatnot, live-selling platforms, or auctions OR
• On-camera sales experience (QVC, HSN, livestream selling, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and natural on-camera presence
• Ability to think quickly and adapt in a live environment
• Reliable with a consistent work history
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting

Preferred Experience (Bonus Skills)

• Experience selling jewelry, coins, or collectibles
• Background in retail, sales, or customer-facing roles
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (eBay, etc.)
• Experience building engagement with a live or digital audience
