Tickler’s Crab Shack & Restaurant at Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island specializes in relaxed waterfront dining, wedding weekends, corporate events, social gatherings & other events. As one of the few waterfront crab decks left in the area, we pride ourselves on our brand, food, atmosphere & ability to uphold the long-standing Eastern Shore traditions of family, food & fun in a laid-back environment. While also providing first class service & dining experiences. We have a 9.5-acre property in the heart of Tilghman Island, with 50 hotel rooms, pool, sauna, lawn games & fire pits. With each operating seasonally, we have multiple restaurant & bar spaces that are used in a variety of ways.

Looking to Hire in Late Winter for a Busy 2026 Season

  • Cooks
  • Prep
  • Dishwasher
  • Expo/ Food RunnerResponsibilities:
  • Execute recipes with precision and consistency
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, friendly, and organized kitchen
  • Respond quickly to all changes
  • Optimize use of ingredients and minimize waste
  • Set up & clean up following opening & closing proceduresSkills:
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Quick learner
  • Enjoys fast paced environment
  • Ability to multitask & not get flustered
  • Problem solve on the fly
  • Can lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
