Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality in every dish
• Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary experience
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and hygiene standards
• Support food presentation and plating to ensure visually appealing dishes that delight guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work stations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
• Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with efficiency and precision

Experience

• Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering environments is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and meal assembly
• Familiarity with dietary department requirements and dietary aide experience is advantageous
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
• Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
• Background in menu planning, food service, and culinary arts will help you excel in this role
