Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Light & Heavy Vehicle Driver to safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of personnel, equipment, materials, and other goods. The driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle care, and compliance with UAE traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light and heavy vehicles safely and responsibly as assigned by management.
• Transport company personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and goods to and from project sites, clients, suppliers, and other designated locations.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of equipment and materials.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Check vehicle condition, including tyres, brakes, lights, oil, coolant, and other essential components.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific requirements.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, deliveries, collections, and vehicle inspections.
• Report accidents, vehicle defects, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements immediately to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with the logistics and operations team regarding delivery schedules and routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, registration, insurance, and permits are valid and available when required.
• Follow designated routes and use GPS/navigation systems effectively.
• Exercise care when transporting valuable, heavy, or sensitive equipment.
• Support emergency or urgent transportation requirements when assigned.
• Perform other driving and transportation-related duties assigned by management.

Safety Responsibilities

• Drive defensively and maintain safe driving practices at all times.
• Wear required PPE when entering oilfield, industrial, or project sites.
• Comply with site safety rules and vehicle access requirements.
• Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may affect driving ability.
• Report unsafe road, vehicle, or site conditions immediately.
• Ensure passengers use seat belts and that loads are properly secured before driving.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license appropriate for the vehicle category being operated.
• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License for heavy vehicle operations.
• Previous experience as a light/heavy vehicle driver, preferably in the oilfield, construction, industrial, logistics, or equipment rental industry.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and routine maintenance.
• Ability to safely handle and transport equipment and materials.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with loading/unloading when required.
• Punctual, reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency assignments when required.

Preferred Experience

Experience in transporting oilfield equipment, machinery, tools, storage tanks, industrial materials, and project-related equipment will be an advantage.
