The Farmer’s Daughter is a high-volume farm-to-table brunch restaurant in Easton looking for a Lead Host / Guest Experience Lead to run the front door and help create a warm, organized guest experience during our busy brunch service.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys interacting with guests, and can confidently manage the flow of a busy dining room.
As Lead Host, you’ll help manage the waitlist, coordinate seating flow with the kitchen and service team, and ensure every guest feels welcomed from the moment they walk in.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and set the tone for great hospitality
- Manage the host stand and waitlist during busy brunch service
- Communicate accurate wait times and keep guests informed
- Coordinate seating flow with managers and the kitchen
- Assist with guest recovery and special requests when needed
- Help train and support other hosts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host station
Ideal Candidate
- Previous restaurant host or hospitality experience
- Calm and confident in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Friendly, welcoming, and guest-focused
- Experience with Toast or similar POS systems is a plus
