Laundry Manager
Rate of Pay: $70,000 – $75,000 per year.

The Role:
The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s laundry operations, ensuring that linens are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. The role involves managing laundry, staff, ensuring equipment is well-maintained, controlling costs, and maintaining consistent quality and efficiency in daily operations.
The Laundry Manager will also play a key role in the opening of our new in-house laundry facility. This is a great opportunity to be part of the core team from day one, helping shape the operation, set standards, and build efficient processes as we bring the laundry service to property.
Job Duties:
Operational Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all laundry activities, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution of linens.
- Monitor the condition of all linens; coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper for replacements when needed.
- Conduct bimonthly linen inventories
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and safety of the laundry area.
- Ensure proper use of washing formulas, detergents, and machinery to achieve the best results with minimal wastage.
- Establish and maintain laundry schedules to meet the operational needs of the hotel.
- Accommodating special requests as needed (guest & staff laundry)
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate laundry team members.
- Schedule shifts and allocate duties to maintain smooth operations.
- Conduct regular training on fabric care, equipment handling, and hygiene standards.
- Evaluate staff performance and take corrective action when necessary.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure team alignment, communication and consistency.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of all laundry machines and equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with the engineering department.
